Quality Technician
Pontiac, MI
Co. is an automation build manufacturer
Pay rate: $20-25/hr, based on exp.
Responsibilities:
- Perform layout inspection on product, fixtures or tools as required
- Communicate any drawing discrepancies and/or deficiencies to Engineering
- Evaluates all completed programs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the detail
- Provide accurate time reporting for assigned activities through the ERP system
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and practice good housekeeping by keeping area & equipment clean
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of work related experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with PCDIMS & Polyworks preferred
- Ability to accurately and reliably use various precision hand gauges and testing equipment
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and apply Geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) as is intended
- Attention to Detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
High regard for safety standards
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm, OT 'til 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, possible some work on Saturdays
Long term contract position w/ possibility of going permanent
