Janitorial Supervisor
Loc.: Roseville, MI
Company is a prototype automotive part manufacturing facility.
1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm (Overtime when needed based on workload)
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Assigning work duties to janitorial staff based on their experience level and knowledge of procedures
Scheduling work hours and hiring new employees when necessary
Reporting any problems with equipment or facilities to management
Ensuring that work areas are safe by following given policies and other regulations regarding workplace safety and sanitation procedures
Communicating with other staff members about tasks that need to be completed or problems that need to be addressed
Coordinating with other departments to schedule floor care during off hours
Reviewing inventory records to determine the amount of supplies needed for specific jobs
Assigning tasks to custodial staff and monitoring their progress to ensure that they are performed properly
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as janitorial supervisor or similar role
Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
Basic computer skills: excel is a plus
