Maintenance Tech / Electrician
Loc.: Macomb, MI
Company is a CNC machining facility
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay rate: Up to $33/hr
Duties:
Perform maintenance activities on equipment per task tracking and downtime.
Complete repair maintenance activities on CNC Lathes/Mills, General Machines and Hobbers/Shapers, robots and automation.
Participate in problem solving and product teams
Troubleshoot chronic machine and electrical problems
Assist with operator training of PM activities
Conduct new hire orientation for Maintenance (as designated)
Housekeeping of tool room area
If capable or directed, wire equipment, do PLC implementation and program management.
Follow Housekeeping, Safety (lockout/tagout) & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
Comply with all applicable requirements for the Quality and Environmental Systems
Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping-submit o supervisor or HR Box
Experience:
Seeking 3-5 yr exp. in machine repair, strongly prefer experience repairing CNC machines.
Familiar with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
Mechanical abilities
Hours: 6am - 4:30 pm, M – F, frequent Sat. and some Sun.; may rotate weekends, double time pay for Sun.
Education: High School/ GED
