2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Co is a global automotive manufacturer
Pay Rate: $26-38/hr (based on experience)
2nd Shift Hours: 3pm -11pm with some OT during the week and on weekends
Will have to train on the split shift 11am - 7pm for the 1st week
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining the day-to day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the plant under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisor. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper techniques is essential.
Responsibilities of Position:
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Ability to use hand tools
Trouble shooting and repairing production equipment
Capable of building wood crates
Working with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Working with PLCs.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
Welding Experience
Maintenance expertise
Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:
Crane Certification

Lifting up to 50 lbs
Pushing, pulling
Must wear hearing protection, safety glasses and steel toe shoes
Working Conditions:
Works within an automotive components manufacturing facility setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
Temporary to Permanent or would consider direct hire for the right candidate
