Account Sales Manager 
Novi, Mi 
Co. builds/ manufactures stand-alone machines
Salary: $80K - 120/yr, based on years of exp. 
DIRECT HIRE! 
Job Overview:
Sales Planning
- Develop market strategy for profitable growth
- Business development according to developed marketing strategies
- Monitor, track, and review sales performance and take necessary actions to ensure that goals are met for assigned sales territory
- Present company’s product line incl. service, wear & spare parts, and abrasives to all customers
Account Management/ Customer responsibilities
- Plan regular cost-effective customer visits
- Customer communication - maintain weekly customer contact schedule
- Identify new customer opportunities and projects
- Completion of RFQ’s in collaboration with the customer per co’s standard
- Interface with purchasing, service, and engineering to resolve any open issues
- Maintain and update customer accounts in collaboration with sales management
- Contract negotiations and closing
- Follow-Up on customer collections
Resource planning
- Assist in the preparation of quotations as directed by the management
- Transparent reporting and program management tracking
- Submit detailed customer visit reports weekly
- Meeting cash flow targets by collecting customer payments according to payment terms
Continuous improvements/ Quality
- Take process ownership in co’s quality system
- Ensure all activities of the department comply with legal demands and ethical standards
Meeting schedule
• Participate & report in weekly sales meetings
• Participate customer run off meetings
• Participate in wrap up review meetings with customer
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, understand assembly and manufacturing process in order to communicate with customers
*Must have product/ manufacturing experience 
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Product and process knowledge
• High School Diploma / Degree
• Understanding of the evolving market and industry
