Electromechanical Assembler

Manufacturer and supplier of components for assembly automation, medical applications and mobile machinery
1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm
*light OT and an occasional Saturday
Pay Rate: $16.50
Key Responsibilities:
Directly involved in the assembly and repair functions for the actuation side of the business.
Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools
Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
Attach product labels and mark identifying information on parts
Reading blueprints and schematics is preferred to determine component parts and assembly sequences of actuator units
Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies as required
Drill, tap and ream using drill presses and portable power drills
Follow the safety rules and contribute as a team player
Any additional task as requested by the organization
Qualifications:
High School Graduate (preferred)
Native English (preferred)
At least 1 years of related experience (preferred)
Required Skills:
Mechanical aptitude, deductive reasoning, successful experience using hand/power tools, reading and oral comprehension, quality mindset: ability to recognize problems
Physical Requirements:
Job requires standing for long periods of time. Exposure to factory environment for long periods of time. Regularly lift to 40 pounds. Perform repetitive task. Must have manual dexterity to put parts together quickly and accurately.
Good vision: near/far/depth and ability to adjust focus.
