Pay rate: $30- $33/hr

Description of Job Duties
Troubleshoot tooling, process concerns and chronic machine problems

Edit CNC programs and perform production set ups
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems, perform PLC implementation and PLC program management
Assist with training for operators on machining and PM tasks
Conduct studies and record operations for such factors as time, motion, method and speed to improve efficiency or establish standard production rates
Conduct tool life studies and assist in analysis of information per Engineers
Help implement new and enhanced process tools
Make or modify machine parts (brackets, chucks, screws, adapter, etc.) and gauging.
Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization
Assist in conducting capability studies and ROI analysis
Participates in evaluation and selection of products for new and current processes
Lead or assist with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvements (CI)
Identify CI opportunities and participate in problem solving teams
Participate in APQP/PPAP process and implementation of new processes
Follow Housekeeping, Safety &  Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping
Comply and participate in MPM housekeeping, safety and environmental polices

Requirements
Experience: CNC machining 

Automotive Years: 3
Set-up and Process troubleshooting

CNC programming/ Fanuc controls
Experience in Manufacturing (CNC’s, gear cutting, general machines & heat treat equipment)

PLC knowledge, a plus
Technical math; mechanical abilities
Knowledge and use of tool room equipment-lathe, mill, Bridgeport, grinders-jig
Good organizational and analytical skills

Education: 

High School (min)
