CNC Machine Operator
Co. is an automotive parts supplier
Westland, MI
Shift: 1st shift to train, then potentially move to 2nd.
Pay: $20-$23/hr (based on experience) - $1/hr shift premium when moved to 2nd shift
Job Summary
Will operate single or multiple CNC Machines and equipment for high volume production by loading, unloading and packing parts into packaging.
Read and understand blueprints and schematics
Perform quality inspections and checks as per instructions (visual inspection, use of hand gages, and other measuring methods).
Maintain and complete all required documentation per work instruction
Perform scheduled tool changes or when required.
Requirements:
1-2 years CNC experience in high volume environment (single and multiple cell CNC Machines)
Blueprint reading
Use of measuring gauges micrometers and calipers
Automotibe parts background would be a plus
High school graduate or GED
Must be a team player, high level of energy and communicate clearly
Basic knowledge on machining and assembly processing.
Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull of heavy objects regularly - up to 35lbs.
Must be able to bend, stoop and reach
Regular attendance at work and ability to work overtime (daily/weekends) required.
