CNC Machine Operator
Shelby Township, MI
Company is a medium sized cnc machining facility
Work Hours: 5:30pm to 4am
Pay Rate: $18.00
Job Requirements:
- Operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes
- Operators load and unload machines
- Inspect / check parts using hand gages micrometers and calipers
- Immediately inform the Production Supervisor of any failure at the machine
- Place the components in the appropriate containers and, if required, fill out an identification tag for the container
Experience Required:
- Must have previous experience running / operating a production machine (example: CNC machine (mill or lathe), broach, or grinder) - required
- Must have experience checking the part, qualify with basic measuring gages
Physical Demands:
- Ability to adjust work schedule to meet job requirements and production demands ·
- Ability to lift parts up to 40 Pounds
- Moderate physical effort required in performing normal job duties
Other duties and expectations include:
- Ensure housekeeping functions in work area are performed to maintain a safe and efficient work space
- Help maintain a culture of open communication, trust, continuous improvement and performance within the company
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or assigned by supervisor
