Job Summary:
The Foundry Die Cast Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the casting process within a foundry setting. This role involves setting up, monitoring, and adjusting equipment to ensure the efficient production of metal castings while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery such as molding machines, melting furnaces, pouring equipment, and sand mixers to produce metal castings according to specifications.
• Set up machines and tools, including molds, cores, and patterns, for each production run.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Inspect finished castings for defects, such as cracks, air bubbles, or incomplete fills, and make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to address issues
