Shift: 7a-3:30p (OT during the week and some weekends)
Pay Rate: $22-$26/hr(based on experience)
*There is a probationary period for the 1st month

Position Summary:
The Die Setter will be responsible for setting dies on the Production Stamping Press side,
ensuring efficient and accurate production processes. The role requires proficiency in utilizing a
crane and Hi-Lo/Forklift for moving heavy dies and equipment.
Essential Duties:
In keeping with the policies and procedures of the organization, along with all relevant legislative
authority, the Die Setter will:
• Set up and install dies on the Production Stamping Press side according to production
schedules and specifications.
• Adjust and align dies to achieve proper clearances and dimensions for quality parts
production.
• Operate cranes, Hi-Lo/Forklifts, and other equipment to move and position heavy dies safely
and efficiently.
• Perform regular maintenance on dies and equipment to ensure optimal performance and
longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to die setup, operation, and quality control.
• Collaborate with team members, including machine operators and maintenance technicians,
to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Education and/or Experience:
The Die Setter will have at least will have at least 2 years of Manufacturing experience,
combined with a High school diploma or equivalent qualification and Vocational training or
apprenticeship in tool and die making, machining, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Die Setter in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in utilizing cranes, Hi-Lo/Forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of die setup and adjustment processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and good judgement / analytical skills, combined with strong
leadership skills.
• Able communicate professionally, verbally and in writing with all levels of team members
and customers (if required).
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
