Co. manufactures systems for machines - Excellent workplace, modern, clean & well organized shop, worldwide company.
Pay rate: $27 - 28/hr (+ 10% shift prem., up to $30.80/hr)
2nd shift: 5pm - 2:30am
SUMMARY:
To inspect the quality of products that were manufactured in house or from vendors.
Duties:
Must be able to read prints and inspect parts (samples of production runs from CNC Machines, machined parts)
Must be able to check parts using hand gages: micrometers, calipers, height gages
Will complete the DMR process if parts are non-conforming
Will check concentricity, runout, and have the ability to check tenths in accordance with prints
Will use optical comparators, height gages, thread gages, etc.
Will complete forms and file results in job file
Will also be required to make visual inspections of surface finishes
CMM experience helpful but not required
Will notify Manufacturing Manager or Plant Manager if components are non-conforming
Permanent job - 90 days contract to direct hire
