S&R Clerk/ Material Handler 
Rochester Hills, MI
Company is an auto part manufacturer, small precision components etc. 
Pay rate: $20/hour
Hours: 8am - 4pm, 30 min lunch break 

Must have:
Experience using Hilo, Scanner & ERP system 
Understanding of FIFO 
Job overview:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate  processing of shipments and receipts of goods in our manufacturing facility. This role involves  preparing shipments, managing incoming deliveries, and maintaining organized records to  support production and inventory control. 
o Punctuality and attendance

o Warehouse 5S 
o Inventory/location accuracy 
o On-time dispatch and reception of goods 
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Prepares outgoing shipments by reviewing orders and ensuring accurate data. 
• Ensures timely dispatch of goods. 
• Verifies shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Invoices, and Packing lists. 
• Inspects and secures shipments, ensuring that they meet company standards while aiming to  prevent damage during transit. 
• Unloads and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. 
• Reports any discrepancies or damage to incoming shipments to Purchasing Manager. 
• Processes and records all received goods in ERP system, labeling and storing items accurately. 
• Maintains accurate records of shipments and inventory, ensuring all data is up to date. 
• Participates in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. 
• Assists in organizing and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse. 
• Declares all semi and finished products from staging area and physically allocates them in the respective warehouses. 
• Checks shipping cage for DHL/UPS/Amazon Deliveries and delivers packages to the recipient  daily. 
• Keeps all material handling equipment in optimal condition and reports any anomalies to the  Maintenance Manager. 
• Works closely with Logistics Coordinator, Quality, and Purchasing departments to meet shipping  and receiving needs. 
• Provides support in identifying and resolving shipping, receiving, or inventory issues promptly. 
• Follows and promotes compliance with company safety procedures and policies. 
• Disposes of garbage and cardboard per assigned schedule. 
• Supports French Corner and other Departments with shipments and receptions as needed. 
• Make sure to follow FIFO. 
• Acts as a backup for Material Handler. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Work overtime when needed 
Steel toe shoes/boots required

Perm. job - 90 day contract to direct hire
