Heavy Mechanic

Detroit, MI

Company retrofits new cars and trucks.

Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm, Sunday - Monday, (7 days / 12 hour shifts) 

Seeking a Heavy Mechanic with experience in replacing / repairing engines or transmissions, or automotive electrical experience. Diagnose and repair new automotive vehicles. Perform new vehicle retro fit and repairs. Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments. Use Diagnostic tools to test vehicle components

The ability to lift 50 pounds
The ability to work in various weather conditions
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly for the entirety of the workday
The ability to move, bend, walk, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time
Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities:
Ability to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends, when deemed necessary
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain a strong team-centered mentality and upbeat attitude
Has own Tools / Locking Toolbox
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong Team Building skills is a must
