JR Machine Service Technician

Co. manufactures systems for machines - Excellent workplace, modern, clean & well organized shop, worldwide company.
Pay rate: $20- 30/hr + 10% shift prem., based on yrs of experience
2nd shift: 3pm - 10:30pm
Required:
Min 2 year experience in plastic injection molding
MUST have experience in plastic processing, troubleshooting/replacing injector pins, and reading mics and calipers.
Preferred experience repairing DME and/or Husky hot runner systems.
Note:
***Best matches are candidates with some machine processing, mold setting and basic machine maintenance experience
Duties:
Service Technician to troubleshoot processing specifically related to plastic injection machine HOT RUNNER systems (direct flow manifolds, unitized manifolds) and related components (bushings, valve gate systems, extension machine nozzles, screen pack filters, temperature controllers, quick mold change systems and sequence control systems) at customer sites.
Will be responsible for troubleshooting hot runner systems and processing molding issues.
Will be required to assess components, determine needed repairs, test equipment, make adjustments and check with customer for acceptance.
Other:
Once proficiency is reached, will be on-call over some weekends (rotate with others in the dept. for emergency service calls)
Must have a valid drivers license to travel to customer sites.
Travel is just local during the day using company service van.
Field service: under 20% travel, very seldom, only as needed
