CNC Mill Programmer/ Dept. Leader

Pay Rate: up to $25 - 32/hr, based on experience
Overview
Co. designs and make own product in house, everything that goes through machines (CNC and Manual ) is the final product. Products are wide ranging but are the final products that are sold to customers.
Duties:
- Develop CNC Programs (from blueprints and 3D models using Gibbs CAD/CAM software )
- Operate HAAS CNC mills/lathes to test and verify CNC programs
- Troubleshoot machining process and/or CNC programs
- Operate machine shop equipment
- Order material and schedule work flow for orders and stock machining processes
- Oversee Grinding Department, Engraving Department, Impact Marker Department , Machine and CNC Department
Required:
Must know Gibbs cam software with limited AutoCad or Solidworks knowledge
G&M codes and HAAS programing
Note:
***Open to promote to a Dept. Super role either right from start or, near future
Main job is to schedule the work flow and program HAAS CNC machines
Co. has managers for departments so the person will work with them and not bear the whole brunt of the work flow
The crew is approximately 14 people who operate PROTOTRAK Mill, Vertical Mills, Surface Grinders, Lathes, EDM and CNC Lathes and Machining centers.
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm/4:30pm - often work 10 hour days

Perm. position – 90 day contract to direct hire, will consider direct hire from start the right candidate fit
