Company is a production automotive CNC machining facility.
2nd shift: 2:30 -10:30pm
5% premium for 2nd shift, 7% premium for 3rd shift
Pay Rate: $30-34/hr
+$2000 Sign-On Bonus upon conversion to Direct Hire
Overview
Seeking Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on automated machining lines with robotic material handling systems.
Job Duties
Ensures operation of machinery, mechanical gear boxes, equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, spindle, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Perform and/or assist in the design, build and approval of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
Maintains facilities CNC machinery (CNC turning, dials and transfer systems ) to proper working condition
Able to work in high volume CNC manufacturing environment.
Conduct research and development activities associated with design and testing of control circuits, power requirements, programmable controls, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Assist operations as required in determining conditions for testing or evaluating existing difficulties associated with control circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and help determine course of correction and implement correction.
Contact vendors to specify control equipment necessary to maintain machine operation or development of machinery.
Experience Required
3 + years troubleshooting electrical components on industrial equipment
Must be able to read electrical prints proficiently and use a voltmeter
Knowledge of ladder logic and servo motors.
Experience with 480V
CNC machine repair experience is a plus
Experience with metal stamping is a plus
Position is 90 day contract to direct hire.
