Maintenance Technician

Company is an automotive part manufacturer
Pay Rate: $28-35/hr
2nd Shift: 3PM-11PM Mon-Friday or, 3PM-1:00 PM Mon-Thurs, OT as needed
Job Description:
Analyzes mechanical, electrical, and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action to maintain maximum production and quality.
Reading and comprehension of Electrical schematics.
Tests newly installed or refurbished equipment to ensure fulfillment to specification and safety.
Immediately respond to maintenance issues when production has stopped due to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic problems.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime.
Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance equipment and parts. Order new parts as necessary.
Install and maintain program modifications for all machines
Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for the installation and removal of equipment
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in repairing industrial machinery, preferably in automotive interior trim and systems.
Experienced in reading blueprints and schematics
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Must be have strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair skills.
Experience with new automation, including robot knowledge and industrial controls
Must have experience troubleshooting PLCs.
Waterjet programming a plus.
High school or technical school graduate or equivalent of training or experience.
