Jr Machine Tech/ Repair
Romulus, MI
Company manufactures air conditioning products (dampers, shutters)
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm, OT as required, avg. 45-48 hour/wk
Pay rate: up to $28/hr
***Will also consider up to $21/hr for a JR/ Trainee level candidate w/ limited shop experience. Must have own tools
Duties:
Will be responsible for machine set up, changing tools, changing dies, and punch and mechanical machine. Die repairs and maintenance
Will troubleshoot issues, identify what holds up production
Conduct basic preventative maintenance, oil machines etc.
***Major equipment repairs are being sent out
Experience required:
Seeking min 2 yr experience in troubleshooting/ BASIC repairing manufacturing equipment (metal benders, hydraulic press, roll formers, cnc)
Looking for mechanical trouble shooting/ assembly/ disassembly experience
Other:
NO pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical required
Training on equipment is available
Must have GED/HS diploma
90 day to direct hire
