Company is a production automotive CNC machining facility.
Overview:
Maintenance Tech to perform maintenance and repair to machinery (CNC machines, dial and transfer systems, automated machining lines) and building systems.
Shift Available: 3rd shift (7% shift premium for 3rd shift)
Pay Rate: $27-30/hr
+$1000 Sign-On Bonus upon conversion to Direct Hire
Job Duties
Ensures operation of machinery, mechanical gear boxes, equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, spindle, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Maintains facilities CNC machinery (CNC turning, dials and transfer systems ) to proper working condition.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and welding equipment.
Rebuild draw bars, Spindles, Gear boxes.
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building, mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems.
Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds.
Experience Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3 + years experience in Machine Repair of industrial machinery with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
Seeking some electrical repair exp.
CNC machine repair experience is preferred
