Maintenance Technician
Warren, MI
Company is a UAW union facility that process steel bars and coils - cutting, straightening, heat treating and plating.
3rd Shift: 8:00pm - 6:00am, (10 hours shifts with overtime and weekends) Employee will work 2 weeks of Saturday and Sunday and then get 3rd weekend off.
Pay Rate: Up to $28/hr based on experience
Job Description:
Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs to industrial machines.
Troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of machinery including pumps, motors, conveyors, furnaces, turning machines, etc.
Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and minor electrical repair
Testing/replacing fuses
Welding repairs on equipment using Mig and Arc Welding
Fitting Pipe, threading pipe
Experience Required:
Must have 1 + year in preventative maintenance or machine repair on industrial machines.
Any knowledge in welding, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
