Company is a metal fabrication shop.
Salary: $19-20/hr, based on experience
Overview:
Ship/receive, store and retrieve all incoming products as needed for shop production.
Receive, count, store and retrieve all incoming products as needed for shop production
Duties:
- Operate forklift safely
- Staging material for production
- Will check inventory, advise client shipping labels, and have them in correct areas: Fed EX or UPS
- Label incoming product with correct job name
- Monitor inventory for proper labeling
- Process receiving paperwork (per accounting requirements)
- Count inventory monthly (or as needed)
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness – removing empty pallets, keeping aisles clear, sweeping, keep outdoor pallets and parking lot in order
- Transfer material from inventory to departments as needed
- Manage recycle bins by replacing full receptacles as needed, empty cardboard containers and operation of cardboard baler.
*Attention to detail is a must
Hours: 6/7am – 4/5pm, flex hours *Lots of OT available
Permanent job, 90 day contract to direct hire
