Mechanical Assembler

Pay: up to $19/hr
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm (some OT may be required), Mon -Fri
Job Duties:
• Directly involved in the assembly and repair functions for Linear Motion
• Prepares work to be completed by understanding assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and BOM
• Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials require to build final assemblies
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
• Assemble Ball and Roller Screw units using various shop equipment (hand tools and machines)
• Identify and mark components as required
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of ball screw units
• Clean, lubricate and prepare product for final inspection and shipment
• Complete required documentation and ERP transactions
• Continuously obtain new skills to advance in BRSA level
• Follow the safety rules and contribute as a team-player
Qualifications:
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions and bill of materials
• 1-2 years of assembly experience
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
