Mechanical Shop Technician
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr

Company rebuilds fluid drives and rotating equipment for the power utility industry.
Duties:
Machine Mechanic will be responsible for breaking down, inspecting and repairing rotating mechanical equipment.
Seeking candidates with experience in machine repair, proficient with hand and power tools, mechanical skills, ability to read prints, skillful in the use of precision inspection equipment and computer skills.
Knowledge of bearings, drawing/ blueprint reading, precision inspection equipment and practice of preventative maintenance is helpful.
Will also consider recent graduates of the MIAT school with a Certificate in Wind Technician, Industrial and Energy Technician programs.
Knowledge of rigging, use of overhead cranes and cutting torches
Will also consider Car or Truck Mechanics with a good knowledge in mechanical and hydraulics.

Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Overtime available based on workload
Permanent position - long term contract to possible direct hire based on work performance/ attendance
