Paint Technician
(Automotive / Aerospace Painter)

Company manufactures prototype automotive parts; tier 1 & 2 supplier.
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr based on experience
First Shift: 6am-2:30pm with some OT when required
Job Overview:
Preparing and repairing surfaces in preparation for painting. Mixing and applying proper paint
and sealant on plastic or metal parts.
Job Responsibilities:
Mixing paint to customer specification.
Prepare surface for paint and/or sealant.
Hand spray base coat, clear coat.
Minor repairs of part surfaces while painting.
Maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Fill out reports as needed.
Buffing parts as needed.
Sanding parts as needed.
Support compliance with quality policies.
Support corporate continuous improvement initiative.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
2-5 Years painting experience.
Be skilled in sanding / body work on raw parts and buffing / wet sanding finish painted parts
Hands-on automotive body work.
Manual dexterity, strength and attention to detail.
Manufacturing background preferred.
