Machine Build Coordinator 

Sterling Heights, MI
Co. makes tooling for the Big 3 and other OEMs
Pay rate: up to $35/hr
ON-SITE POSITION, no remote option
***MUST have a machine build background & strong computer skills, AutoCAD a major Plus***

Primary Responsibilities: 
Work directly with the Project Management team to assist in managing projects. As a project coordinator you would be involved in the project from concept design through commissioning and final buyoff at customer site.
Below are tasks you would be involved in as a Project Coordinator:
· Initial project set up.
· Budget set up, timelines and open issues
· Meeting preparation
· Schedule meetings and update open issues
· Attend weekly mechanical design review meetings
· Release engineering designs
· Maintain project timelines
· Participate in financial reviews
· Participate in internal and external machine buyoffs with customers.

Education/Skills/Experience Required
· Working experience in one of the following:
· Hands on mechanical machine assembly
· Mechanical Design
· Engineering
· Education in a field related to manufacturing or mechanical design
· Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel
· Able to communicate clearly both written and verbal
· Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines

Position is 90 day contract to direct hire.
