Company is a steel forging and manufacturer of steel products specializing in custom open die forgings and seamless rolled rings.

Pay Rate: $20-23/hr., based on experience
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position contributes to the company's success by having a thorough understanding of all certifications and paperwork in the Quality Certification department. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
DUTIES:
- Researching open orders and determine if preliminary certification is required
- Prepare preliminary certifications and review for compliance
- Prepare purchase orders for testing lab, track all p.o's and log all failed lab reports
- Evaluate incoming lab results against specifications
- Create a certification for various industries (i.e. commercial, aerospace, and nuclear)
- Approve and review certification prior to issuance
- Other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Ability to learn other computer programs created (MTR/QAD)
- Knowledge of ASTM, AMS, AMSE, & SAE specification
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Education and/or Experience:
- Previous clerical experience
- High School graduate or equivalent work experience
Requirements:
- Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 25#, squatting and walking for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Must wear required personal protective equipment when in manufacturing area
1st Shift: 7am - 3pm, Mon -Fri.
