Quality Inspector

Company is a metal stamping service facility
2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
Pay Rate: $17/hr + $2.00/hr Shift premium
Position Summary:
The inspectors are responsible for assuring the quality of the parts produced from initial inspection through shipping.
Position Duties:
1. Outside processing inspection
2. Sectioning and preparation of mounted samples
3. Sign off of hopper tags for further processing or packaging
4. Set up and run sorting machines and visual sorting techniques
5. Auditing of package parts prior to shipping
6. Auditing of hoppers prior to packaging and while packaging
7. Assist Floor Inspector when needed
8. Assist Production in problem solving
9. Any other tasks needed by management
10. Filing of paperwork, inspection sheets, certifications, etc.
11. Report any non-conformances to quality lab manager
12. Maintain S.P.C. computer
