Robot Programmer
Sterling Heights, MI
Co. builds machine tooling for the Big 3 and other OEMs
Shift: 6am-2:30pm (some OT available)
Pay: Up to $45/hr
Primary Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, troubleshoot Fanuc Collaborative Robots: Material Handling and MIG Welding.
- Calibrate, configure, research and development of best set ups for robotic and vision systems
- Travel to customer sites to install robotic systems.
- Any other duties assigned by Manager as needed.
Education/Skills Required:
- 10+ years of experience in programming Fanuc material handling and welding robots required.
- Must be GRS (General Motors) Certified.
- Prefer experience with Vision systems and DCS - Dual Check Safety.
- Must be able and willing to travel 40% of the time within the US and Canada.
Position is 90 day contract to direct hire
