Field Service / Machine Builder 

Novi, MI

Company builds custom CNC controlled micro-finishing machines.

Direct Hire / Permanent Position

Salary: Up to $80K per year, based on experience

Work Hours: 7:00AM – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday (flexible 8.5 hrs daily)

Job Duties:

Install, demonstrate and repair our equipment in customers facilities

Provide training for our customers pertaining to equipment purchased

Interface with customers to resolve technical issues on our equipment

Interface with Service Supervisor to resolve customer concerns

Complete service report to document service issues with our equipment

Solicits sale of new or additional services and spare parts

May be called upon to work extended periods of time

Must be able to respond to emergency requests

Must be able to work off site at customer’s facility 50%-75% of the time (US and Mexico)-Usually a week at a time, but max would be 2 weeks if necessary to complete the job. 

Minimum Requirements

Basic knowledge of machine tool operation

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems

Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits

Basic knowledge of electrical circuits

Able to troubleshoot and make minor changes to Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC’s

Product, Industry and technical expertise

High School Diploma / GED / Related Experience
