PM Shift Supervisor

Plastic injection molding manufacturer
Pay rate: $29-30/hr
2nd shift: 2pm – 10pm, plus overtime, Mon-Sat
Duties:
Scheduling and assigning of manpower and resources to efficiently and effectively meet prescribed schedules, line ups as delivered by the Production Manager.
Maintains and identifies supply needs and submits purchasing order request to
production supervisor, ie (molding releases, blades, gloves, colors additives, materials, etc.)
Other duties:
Responsibilities as assigned may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning; assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Supervise all shift personnel in the Production Dept.
Will Oversee:
Aspects of injection molding machine set up.
Molding of prototype and production parts according to Manufacturing standard procedures, Engineering specifications, and Quality requirements.
Trouble shooting of molding problems.
Set up of injection molding machines, including not limited to dies, machine settings, chiller, thermolators, hot runners, materials, tools and operator required fixtures.
Clean up of work area after production and prototypes.
Adjustments to prototypes and production to meet quality, engineering and customer requirements.
Requirements:
Min 2-3 years of leadership
Must have 3-5 years of injection molding manuf. experience
Must know how to troubleshoot the machine
Must have experience processing plastic injection molding machines, understand mold setting and material handling
Must be able to multi-task, lead the shift and work well with others
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS when needed
Must be able to work OT hours
Must be able to work Saturday hours when needed
