Shop Assistant/ Helper - Apprentice opportunity

Company manufactures sheet metal prototype parts, prototype assemblies and fixtures for the automotive & aerospace industry.
Pay Rate:
Up to $21/hr, (read gages, operate shop equipment)
Job Duties:
Seeking mechanically inclined candidates with desire to learn a skilled trade in a prototype manufacturing environment
Will have the chance to be trained through all departments (stamping, fabrication, metal finishing, robotic/ manual welding, assembly, quality, laser cutting etc.)
Will consider any shop experience ***
Throughout the apprenticeship program will have the chance to select the line of work preferred
Experience:
Will consider candidates with a Skilled trade program Certification OR, min. 6 month shop experience or, manufacturing/ machine operation background
*Looking for driven individuals who are looking to gain/ learn skilled trades qualifications
Day Shift: 6am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, plus some Saturdays
Permanent job - contract to direct hire
