Surface Grinder Machinist

Company builds small machines machines.
Pay rate: $21 - 23/hr based on experience
Duties:
Operate Surface Grinder to grind flat small details to hold tight tolerances +/- .0005”
Mus be able to grind angles on a sine vise
Required:
Only experienced candidates, min 3 yr exp.
Must be able to hold tight tolerances, min .001
Must be able to read prints.
Must have a good mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Must be able to read measuring tools (micrometer or calipers)
Must have knowledge of machines and shop environment
Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
OT available, seldom Saturdays, avg. 40 - 55 hours
Permanent job - 90 days contract to direct hire
