Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr or more with experience as a Fabrication Lead

Day Shift Available: 6:00am – 2:30pm / 4:30pm (when working OT)

Job Duties:

Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machine frames, robot stands etc.

Read prints and MIG weld frames and structures, as well as sheet metal.

Mig welding .045 wire, structural tubing and I-beam, channel

Set up and operate machinery such as oxy-fuel cutting torches, grinders and drills to bend, punch, cut and form metal components

Assemble and fit metal sections and plates together to form sub-units or complete units 

Utilize material handling, rigging, hoisting, and lifting equipment to move completed assemblies safely

Perform calculations and applying shop formulas and other mathematical methods to develop patterns and lay out structural steel

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a fabricator/fitter

Must be capable of reading and understanding detailed blue prints related to custom built systems.

Must have strong Mig welding experience with structural steel, mild steel plate and tube stock. 

Stainless, Aluminum & Tig welding experience is a plus. 

Must own tools including welding helmet.

Valid driver’s licenses.
